The cozy, welcoming atmosphere and the waitress and owner’s top-notch service make Zum Postillion a place I love coming back to. They really treat customers like kings, and the prices are excellent for what you get. The food is exceptional, especially the schnitzel, and there’s a good range of house and Dutch beers. It’s my favorite restaurant in Soltau, a fantastic experience every time and a must for visitors. Thank you!

We went only for the meal, choosing Wednesday, when it’s schnitzel day. For €13.90, you can pick pork or chicken, and each of us got two big schnitzels with generous sides. They were absolutely delicious. At other places, schnitzel is often just breaded and costs more.

The breakfast was good, but it was forgotten on our last day. Nobody was there when we arrived, either. It’s okay for a short stay, though I’d pick another hotel if I were staying longer.
