The rooms were clean, with a lovely view, and we were greeted with a glass of secco, which was a nice touch. We spent two nights here and really enjoyed talking with Mrs. Wenninger. She was so pleasant and had great suggestions for places to eat and things to do nearby. We’d happily come back when we can. Thanks for such a nice stay, Mrs. Wenninger!

The staff treated us like family, and the rooms were huge with blackout blinds that made it easy to sleep in. Breakfast is served daily, and the family run hotel also has a winery. They gave us a thorough tasting of their wines, which were superb.

The owners were so nice, and we loved the wine and the great breakfast. We stayed three nights at Felshof. It’s peaceful, cozy, and modern, with a lovely position on a plateau above Sommerhausen. You can head straight out for a walk or a bike ride. We’ll be back.
