We only stopped here during a much longer trip, but wished we could have stayed more than one night. The room was spotless, the food was amazing, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We also loved the hotel's location and atmosphere.

The dining room has a nice interior, and there's outdoor seating too. The food was tasty and well prepared. Service was just so-so that day. Even if someone had apparently called in sick at short notice, the staff could have been friendlier.

This is an older, regional-style guesthouse, and the rooms are mid-sized. They can feel chilly in winter, though the central heating warms them up quickly when turned all the way up. The beds are comfortable, while the bathrooms and toiletries feel old-fashioned. Breakfast is included, a modest continental buffet; you can ask for something like an omelette, but no vegetables were offered at the table. The atmosphere isn't particularly cheerful, much like the clientele, though it works well enough as a stopover. At 70 EUR for a double room used by one person, the price felt rather steep.

The accommodation gets one star from me, and the adequate breakfast earns the second. The host was grumpy and rude, which was the last thing we wanted after a cold, uncomfortable motorbike trip.

Clean and very nice. Booking directly with the hotel is cheaper than using booking. com, so I'd recommend that.
