The view from the terrace was lovely, and the apartment itself was beautiful, spotless, and even smelled great. We came by train, and our hosts kindly offered to collect us from the station. They’re a lovely farming couple, and the price was hard to beat. Five stars, absolutely.

Mrs. Scholz was so nice, and we had a great time in this little apartment for two just outside Spiegelau. It’s a short walk, about 10 minutes, to the forest railway, with plenty of hiking trails nearby. The place is on the small side and has limited cooking facilities, but it worked perfectly for us. Thank you!

Apartment 2 was a great fit for two, very well furnished, and had everything we needed. The center of Spiegelau is a short walk away, though there’s no sidewalk on the way, so bringing a flashlight is a good idea. Parking is below the accommodation along the main road, with space directly in front for loading and unloading; the holiday farm is easy to reach on foot too. The owners were lovely and friendly, and we had a really relaxing stay. We’d happily recommend the accommodation. All the best to the Scholz family and continued success with your guests.

The tourist office specifically assured us that the advertised bread roll delivery could be arranged on request, but the service didn’t exist. We were told to buy rolls at the discount store instead. Never again.

The apartment was good, though the internet connection could use some improvement.
