The food was excellent, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel was clean and had a pool, too. It was very peaceful, except when the fire siren went off in the middle of the night. I don't know where we'll go next time, but I'd happily stay at Hotel Hochriegel again. Definitely worth a visit.

We felt completely at home at this cozy inn. The hosts were friendly, service was great, and dinner was delicious. Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but what was there was high quality. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

The spa has pretty much everything: a huge sauna, three spacious relaxation rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness room, massages, and other treatments. It's also a great base for hikes, and they even offer guided ones daily. The hotel sits by a village crossroads, but you wouldn't notice it in the quiet rooms, which have balconies. The carpet could do with an update. We also really liked the excellent food and friendly staff, and you can feel that it's family-run. Absolutely recommended.

A panoramic sauna, tasty food, and very friendly owners and staff. There are rooms in different sizes, and the hotel makes a good base for hiking in Bavarian Forest National Park.
