Ferienpark Süderstapel

We stayed at the Süderstapel campsite over Easter 2026. The view across the Eider River was breathtaking, and everything beforehand went smoothly. We got our keys using a code from a key box. The washrooms were in terrible shape. They were quite old, which by itself wasn't a big deal, but the women's restroom wasn't cleaned once over the whole Easter holiday. It was filthy, with no toilet paper or other supplies. We paid a price that doesn't match this poor service, and we wouldn't recommend the place. We took photos, but nobody contacted us or responded during the holiday or afterward. It's incredibly frustrating to have to use a toilet without toilet paper on a holiday.

The holiday park made a well-kept impression, with everything clean, tidy, and lovingly decorated. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome right away. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, a lovely place to unwind and recharge. We had a wonderful stay at the Süderstapel holiday park, would gladly return, and recommend it to anyone looking to relax in beautiful surroundings.

The surrounding nature is beautiful, and the location is great. My husband has often taken the boys there for Father's Day weekend fishing trips. There are different sizes of mobile homes; we had a medium-sized one and were happy with the space for two. The kitchen had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the service staff hadn't finished cleaning the mobile home because something in the bathroom was being replaced. The campsite manager was friendly and competent. We brought our boat, and the slipway is at the small marina. We'd love to come back.
