Hotel Gasthof Fenzl

Dinner on the terrace was a highlight, the food was excellent, and the lake is very close with lots of activities nearby. The hotel was clean, with good facilities and large rooms, and breakfast had what you need to get going in the morning. One thing to plan for if you're travelling with kids around 9 and 12: there aren't rooms that sleep four, so be prepared to book two. Apart from that, I loved the hotel.

Our dog got so much affection and treats from the staff, who were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful, and so was the restaurant food. Breakfast was lovely too, with a wonderful buffet, and the breakfast and cleaning staff were especially friendly and happy to help.

We ate at the hotel both nights, and the food was delicious. Even with 14 of us, everything arrived at the same time, which was great. The hosts and the rest of the team were very friendly, and the hotel was clean and well presented, with a lovely outdoor spot for eating and drinking. I stopped for two nights on a work trip and would happily recommend the place.

For a budget family hotel, it was decent, clean, and friendly, and the German restaurant was good. The rooms are pretty basic, with flat pillows and no A/C or laundry service. Breakfast was typical, but good.
