We use Karl-Eberth-Haus to host our international guests, and everyone has enjoyed their stay so far. The people there are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, and the mix of hostel and hotel makes for great hospitality. The rooms are comfortable, whether they're in the newly renovated old-style building or the newer side building. It's on the edge of Steingaden's village center, within walking distance of the market square, the wonderful church, and the monastery remains. The walk to the UNESCO World-Heritage church "Wieskirche" takes about 30 to 45 minutes through lovely forests and a spectacular moor, along the board trail called "Brettlesweg".

We were a group of 20 young executives, and the participants had very positive feedback. This was our third visit, this time for two half-days. There's everything needed for a successful conference, especially plenty of room to socialize and share ideas. The staff are incredibly friendly, and everything runs efficiently and is well organized. The value for money is incredibly good. The food was delicious and plentiful as always, anyone who leaves hungry should take a good look at themselves. For the evening, I'd recommend the lounge with the fireplace. The two ping-pong tables in the basement were very popular. If you're after luxury, this isn't the place for you. We highly recommend it.
