I've worked in restaurants and hotels for over 20 years, and I've never had a booking experience like this. I politely asked whether I could pay cash on arrival, as the Booking.com listing said, and the landlord cancelled my reservation. He said he no longer wanted to make the rental agreement with me because he had a bad feeling about it. I suspect there was another reason behind his supposedly "luxurious apartment." Never again. I sincerely hope this makes others think twice before booking with Mr. Kampe.

I was on my own, but felt completely comfortable in the lovely apartment and its beautiful surroundings. The landlords were so kind, and I didn't find myself short of anything. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The apartment was really well equipped and great value for money. The family were lovely, and handing over the key was simple.
