The staff were friendly and the buildings are nice, plus the restaurant food was very good and the prices seemed fair. The rooms feel dated, though. I had to unplug the TV to charge my phone because there weren't enough outlets. The shower door wouldn't shut, and my colleague's room had no working heat. Phone reception is almost nonexistent except around the lobby.

The hotel sits uphill among the trees, so it's peaceful and the air feels fresh. I also ate really well at the restaurant. Still, I wouldn't choose it as my first overnight stop: the rooms need renovating, and once again the wine I picked was out of stock.

We've booked the 'genusswochenende' package here a few times, mainly for the quiet countryside and an easy, nature-filled break. The seasonal food is amazing, and the service is ridiculously good. Most guests seem to be seniors, but that didn't bother us at all. We had some very friendly chats with them. We're in our late 30s, in case the other reviews make that relevant.

A lovely spot to unwind or hold a consultation. The facilities are excellent and the food is very good. Phone reception, though, is poor.

A pleasant hotel with a warm, family feel.
