Being so close to the train station is a big plus. The room was reasonably clean, and the neighbors even have a cat that sits in the window :) But the hotel is basic, with no mini bar, safe, or refrigerator in the room, and not even the usual complimentary coffee and tea kettle, which I found weird. We arrived about 1-2 hours early on a Sunday, and the older woman at reception didn't seem pleased. No smile or greeting, just a cranky, "Ja.. You came too early." It didn't feel very welcoming.

The breakfast is well worth the price, and the bathroom had loads of room, including a huge tub. We also had a huge room with a bay window facing the train station, which is handy if you like public transport and a bit of faded grandeur. The furniture and decor are dated, but clean and pretty well kept. Reception has quite restrictive hours, closing for lunch and at night. There aren't enough power points either, so managing to have light at night and a charged phone in the morning is a challenge. ;)

They cancelled our reservation an hour after the planned check-in, saying they were overbooked and couldn't help us. The woman on the phone was really rude and not helpful at all. Please avoid this place. Otherwise you could end up on the beach with nowhere to stay that night. They are a nightmare.

The room was alright, but the reception is always empty. Breakfast costs too much, and there's no option to just get a coffee or a small snack at the restaurant. The check-in and check-out hours are really bad too.

Opposite the train station, so the location is great. It's a pretty okay hotel for a few nights.
