Pension Am Heusteig

The staff were super friendly, and the location worked well for getting around. Our room was simple but had what we needed, and it was clean and sweet. Great shower, too. Breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced. We had a lovely stay at this pension and would happily come back and recommend it.

I enjoyed the stay, and the reception staff were lovely and glad to help with questions and requests. Their kindness gave the place a homely, traditional guesthouse feel. The main drawback was the building’s poor sound insulation. I could hear people coming and going through my door, as well as footsteps from the floor above. The location is close enough to the city center to walk, yet set on a quiet backstreet with little passing traffic or bustle. There are also several transport options nearby. It’s a quaint little spot near Stadtmitte, about a 15-minute walk to the Schloss and garden. The room was small but tidy and clean, with a comfortable bed. I’d have preferred a fridge to the TV, though I can see why they might leave one out. Breakfast is worth trying, with fresh, fluffy, delicious bread and buns at a reasonable price. A safe, decent choice for a few days in Stuttgart :)

The staff were friendly and full of useful information, and the usual breakfast was delicious. It’s easy to walk to shops and transit. We found the room comfortable, though the mattress was a bit thin even by European standards. The street out front is closed at night, which kept things relatively quiet. Just be aware there’s no elevator.

The breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and affordable, definitely worth having. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, quiet, and nicely furnished, with everything clearly explained. Everything is close by, too. A solid five stars, we’ll be back.
