Aparthotel Cosy

Meris made our late Sunday arrival so much easier. Most shops and restaurants were shut, and after my husband dropped us off, we were left out in the cold with a check-in problem. I called the emergency number in the late check-in box, and Meris calmly walked me through it in clear English. It was sorted in about 30 seconds, which was a relief since English is the only language I can communicate in. Inside, the room, bathroom, and all the little details were spotless. You can tell the owners put care into this home-style hotel. Our Executive Suite had a king bed and a double sofa bed, with plenty of room for our family of four, including my teenager and child. Free street parking and laundry were a big bonus. There's a Penny supermarket across the road and an Asian supermarket about 850m away. I was unsure about booking because the previous review was a year old, but I did my research and am glad I gave it a chance. I'd feel comfortable recommending it.

We had a comfortable two-night stay in August. The neighborhood is quiet, with a Penny supermarket across the street, though there's not a lot happening nearby. The U-Bahn is close, with just two stops to Wilhelma zoo and a few to Schlossplatz. Bus tickets are available through an app. Our apartment had a working kitchen and dishwasher, and housekeeping was good. The sofa bed was cozy too. We had a reserved parking space about a minute's walk away. The cafe downstairs, run by the same owner, served good coffee and is where you check in and out. The laundry machines and dryers are free for hotel guests in the basement of another building. Bring your own detergent. We'd happily recommend staying here.

We were very comfortable for all five nights, and the place was clean, modern, and run by friendly hosts. They also run the coffee shop downstairs, where the coffee is excellent. The U-Bahn passes along the street in front, with several lines making it easy to get around the city. You can hear trains and cars, ordinary city sounds without screeching, so don't expect silence. Traffic noise drops off after 11 p.m. We'd stay again.

The apartment had so much room that it felt more like being at home than in a hotel. We loved our stay in Stuttgart and would choose this over a standard hotel room elsewhere.
