I chose this hotel for a business night after seeing the many positive reviews, and the very few negative ones seemed like a good sign. I can confirm what people often say: it’s a sincere, pleasant, very clean hotel in a good location, with really friendly and attentive staff. I was in room 101. It was spacious and nicely furnished, with a small balcony at the back overlooking about twenty parking spaces. The bedding and the cleanliness of both the room and bathroom were a real plus. The bathroom is modern and very functional. It’s a family-run independent hotel, and it feels like a guest house where you’re welcomed and valued. Breakfast was very good, with everything you need. For a musical or sporting event nearby, a business trip with the tram two minutes away, or just a stop along the way, this is an independent hotel run by real professionals that you can trust.

We booked a room for a leisure trip to Stuttgart, travelling by car. Neither the hotel description nor the booking process mentioned that environmental zone requirements at the location made it impossible for us to get there legally. Once we realized this, we cancelled and contacted the hotel to try to negotiate at least a partial refund. The so-called “customer service representative” replied obnoxiously that we should have informed ourselves about all the circumstances and said “it is no issues at all with other customers.” That isn’t true if you read the other reviews. They then kept all our money despite delivering nothing.

The location works well for Canstatter Fest, and there are two nice ladies working there. The owner, though, was rude. I was staying in a single room and had some people over when the owner knocked, asking why I had four other people in the room. It also gets really hot in the room, and there’s no fan.

It’s a fairly new place, simple but more than enough for work trips. Breakfast is great, and the U9 station is 100 meters away.
