The room was tiny and the bed was awful. Cleanliness and location are worth two stars from me. You could get a dormitory bed for a third of the price.

The staff were polite and accommodating, and the room was clean with an average feel. The bed was quite comfortable. The location is very close to the center, behind a mall, but it's rather loud.

My room was clean and practical, though the bathroom was small, and the lift is tiny. I didn't hear the nearby public transport at all, despite the train, bus, and Strassenbahn being close. The old town is walkable, so ask for a map. Breakfast was decent, and there's a nice new bar next door. The shopping mall across the street stays open until 22:00. It was noisy both day and night, with people around all the time, some rowdy and perhaps a bit over-served. There's a disco 20 meters away, so choose a higher floor on the "Hof" side to cut down street noise. I didn't see lobby staff from 23:00 to 6:00.

Breakfast was very good, and the front desk staff were helpful. We had trouble finding the hotel because the signage wasn't obvious. Our room was comfortable, though it had no air conditioning, which was a common concern at all the hotels we visited in Germany. We were only there one night, so I can't really judge the overall location. It was reasonably close for visits to the Mercedes and Porsche museums, and we took a taxi to dinner, just ten minutes away.

The price was what surprised me most. For a reasonably cheap stay, my double room felt more like a small apartment: a spacious living area with a dining table and desk, plus a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. It's in central Stuttgart, near Bad Cannstatt station. The staff were pleasant, polite, and spoke English fluently. I had breakfast there once, with a variety of tasty options. I'd definitely stay again if I were in the area.
