McDreams Hotel Stuttgart-City

The staff were warm and helpful, and we felt right at home. The room was very clean, breakfast was generous and satisfying, and the hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay. Set in a peaceful, refined area, the hotel made it easy to relax and explore nearby. Its architecture and design give it a distinctive, comfortable atmosphere. It feels like an experience in itself, not just somewhere to sleep. We’d gladly come back.

I was there on a business trip and had a comfortable stay. The staff were a big part of that, especially Jerolim and the others, who were friendly and quick to respond to messages. Breakfast was decent. It’s the same every day, sure, but I’m happy as long as I’m full 😄. The location is okay and close to the U-Bahn, though you do have to walk a bit. In Germany, I understand most services cost extra. Keep up the good work!

The reliable, consistently great internet is the only reason I’m giving this three stars instead of two. The room was clean but badly maintained. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, and a sticker saying "Tür kaputt" inside showed they knew it was broken but hadn’t fixed it. Traveling alone, I could manage, but with a friend it would have been a deal breaker. One morning the shower suddenly sent out short bursts of water at maximum heat, so I had to dodge getting burned. I’d checked in online, but the digital room key never worked despite repeated attempts throughout my stay. I had to carry my bags back down to use the check-in kiosks and get a physical key, then return to my room. The place is cheap, and it feels like they’re cutting corners. The location isn’t great either: public transport isn’t very far, but it isn’t close, and there’s absolutely nothing in the immediate neighborhood.

The rooms were clean and affordable, and good for the price. The heating wasn’t warm enough, though, and the hot water kept changing temperature while we showered.
