Wyndham Stuttgart Airport Messe

It’s right across from the Airport, and the subway makes it easy to visit Stuttgart. The staff were kind and professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the little details for a peaceful night. Breakfast was generous and good, with fewer sweet options, which I personally liked a lot.

We stayed overnight before an early flight, and the location worked perfectly. It’s a short walk to the terminal and S bahn station. We took the train to the Volksfest, and it would have been easy to reach the city too. The woman who checked us in was fantastic, friendly, and full of useful information. We felt very welcome. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you need somewhere close to the airport.

We booked one night for last December 2025 through Booking.com, as we usually do, and asked for a SILENT room on a higher floor. We skipped breakfast so we could sleep later the next morning. Reception was friendly when we arrived late, and although the room was on a lower floor, that wasn’t essential to us. The real problem was that the room was not SILENT at all. Our most important request hadn’t been taken into account. From around 6am until 8:30am or possibly later, we could hear loud voices outside, doors banging, and footsteps. I could even make out some of what people were saying. Maybe it was the cleaning team. Our room was beside a staircase without carpet, and each time I was nearly back asleep, another burst of noise came along 😖. It made the stay uncomfortable and got the day off to a bad start. We’ve stayed at a few Wyndhams in different cities, and this is the first one that left us unhappy. We’re not sure we’d book this hotel again.

Just keep in mind that, like most modern airport hotels, the rooms are small. If you have luggage, plan ahead so you only need to open the fewest cases. It’s dog friendly, clean, and comfortable, with great professional service. The terminal is a very short, straight walk away.
