The place is clean, with fresh towels, and the reception was friendly. Our bed frame collapsed, so we were offered a different room to sleep in. In our room there was a TV and a kitchen counter with a stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, and plates, but no oven. The bakery is within walking distance. I woke in the middle of the night to a braying donkey; otherwise, it's really peaceful. The bathroom drain could use some work, and the Wi-Fi was down for a while on our second night. It was okay overall if, like us, you're out exploring and touring most of the time.

The host was kind and helpful. We stayed in a nice, well-equipped two-room apartment overlooking the garden and stables.

The landlord was very unreliable. The service was lousy.
