We ate at the restaurant in the evening, where there was a set menu. The food was very good quality and nicely presented, and the staff were friendly and entertaining. Breakfast was a buffet served until 10am. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We stayed three nights in the Black Forest, and the hotel was well placed for road and public transport links. Most of the forest was within an hour's drive.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the view was great. Staff were very friendly, too. The hotel was nice, though the beds felt a little hard. They were still good.

The service was among the worst I've ever experienced. The staff ignored guests and didn't seem interested in making anyone feel welcome. Stay away!

It's an older establishment, but everything is well kept and organized. They seem to have thought of everything, and I slept really well.

Our car had broken down out front, and they kindly let us use the restroom. They were really kind.
