The setting is lovely, right by the water with a beautiful garden, and the different parts of town are only a few minutes away on foot. Parking is right in front of the building. We stayed in the Grote Kamer apartment as a couple. It was clean and nicely furnished, with a small kitchenette and a very large bathroom. There’s also a little sheltered terrace facing the street. It was a very pleasant stay, and we’d definitely book again.
It’s about a 10-minute walk into town for bakeries, an Edeka supermarket, shops, and restaurants. The apartments are comfortable and well furnished. The accommodation has direct access to the sluice, plus a lovely garden with several seating areas. The owners were friendly and helpful, and you can rent a boat or other water sports equipment. We’d recommend staying here!
The owners care about their guests having a good stay, while still giving them space and staying discreetly in the background. The apartments are comfortably furnished, and the lovely garden by the canal has enough different spots for everyone to find a place of their own. Always a pleasure to come here.
Our toddler had a high chair, cot, and rocking horse waiting in the apartment, and the landlords were really friendly. The place was clean and just a few minutes’ walk from the center. There’s a fantastic garden with lots of seating right on the Siel, and you can use the paddle boat and SUP for free. We’d gladly come back.
It’s such a peaceful place to relax, and the location is fantastic. We could explore the area on foot or by bike and enjoy the quiet. The hosts were incredibly kind, and the apartment looked just like the photos, with everything we needed. I’d love to return. 😊😊👍👍 Britta Hochstädter-Körfer
