Villa Rysum

The house is clean, charming, and spacious enough for up to eight people. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor, plus a big garden with fruit trees. We could park in three spaces, perhaps more if using the grass. Some things need attention. The garden was neglected, with long grass and weeds, and there’s no play equipment for children. The pond has no fence, which is dangerous for small children. Garbage was overflowing from the bin, with bags beside it and more in the shed behind the garage. It gave the place a bit of a hoarded-house look. The driveway is narrow and far too steep. Even my car, which isn’t lowered, scraped underneath every time I drove in or out, so something really needs to be done. It was also hard to find, and a sign by the street would help. Inside, there are only curtains and no blinds, so the rooms got very bright in the morning. There was no welcome folder, and the dining chairs were extremely wobbly. Please tighten the screws or replace them. The Fritzbox is sitting on the floor in the ground-floor bedroom and could be tidied up by attaching it to the wall with two screws. The insect screen at the back entrance and terrace is torn and needs replacing. It doesn’t look good.
