The buffet nights are popular, so book ahead. They offer all-you-can-eat spreads with different dishes, including several kinds of schnitzel. The menu also has regional favorites like "Schaumburger Hochzeitssuppe" and "Wiener Schnitzel", plus options for vegetarians. I’ve only eaten at the restaurant, not stayed at the inn. The food is tasty and fairly priced for the quality, and the staff are friendly and do their best to meet your requests. Landgasthaus Fischer also has a bar and two larger rooms for events such as weddings. If you’re nearby, it’s worth stopping in.

The listing says the restaurant is open every day until 9 pm, but when we arrived at 8:10, we were told the cook had already gone home. :-(

We chose this hotel for a visit to a nearby factory, and its location worked very well. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot, well back from a road that wasn’t busy anyway. The highway is easy to reach, and, if I’m remembering right, there are good restaurants in a small town about 7 or 8 minutes away. The hotel has its own restaurant, though we didn’t get to try it. The room was comfortable, with a big bed and a spacious desk that made working easy. The shower setup was practical too, with a door that kept water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. There’s a pleasant balcony, but it was too cold for us to sit outside. Parking was easy, and the greenery around the hotel made the area feel nice. Breakfast let things down a bit. For several days, the omelet was served cold and was far too overcooked for my taste. The dining room itself was pleasant, and the women working there were very professional, a 10 out of 10 from me. Thanks. Overall, we had a very good stay.
