I loved eating here today. The staff were really nice, and the guy who served me was especially friendly and honest, which I appreciated. My mackerel was cooked just right, crispy outside and soft inside. The Bratkartoffeln were very tasty, and the salad came with an amazing balsamic dressing. I also had the vegan apple cake for dessert, and it was delicious. The fish and Bratkartoffeln were a little too oily and could maybe have been drained longer, but it honestly didn’t bother me much. It was a great experience, thank you! I definitely recommend the place and would love to come back and try another cake.

The host was hilarious and really made the evening. The food was good, especially the sliced potatoes, which I liked even more than the fries / frittes. The relish on the burger was great, too. It’s a good choice if you’re after a casual meal rather than fine dining. We only came for dinner, so I can’t say anything about the rooms.

The restaurant on site was excellent, and breakfast and coffee were good too. We had great lake views from this friendly hotel right beside the water. We'd come back.

Breakfast had loads of choice, and we could enjoy it with a lake view. The room itself was modern, with amazing views too. The approach gave us pause, though: walking up the stairs to the rooms, we wondered if booking here had been the right call. Once we opened the door, that changed. I can definitely recommend the hotel.

I was glad to choose this family run place instead of one of the many hotel chains around now. The owners are elderly, and seeing them have breakfast with the guests made me happy. It's a lovely hotel, and the breakfast was wonderful.
