Schwarzes Kreuz Gasthaus Pension

The staff were so attentive and friendly, and took care of every request to our complete satisfaction. We had dinner at the Schwarzen Kreuz restaurant. The rack of lamb was delicious, and so were my medallions, though the sauce tasted like the chef had been a little too generous with it. We’ll definitely come back. Wishing the team continued success.

The rustic rooms were new and very clean, and the inn itself has been completely renovated and feels comfortable throughout. We were a small private group and felt at ease from the phone call to book our rooms right through to leaving. Everything was handled professionally and with real friendliness. The food is lovingly prepared, and the value for money is more than reasonable. The owner also had some really interesting excursion tips for us. We’ll definitely be back.

The dining room is bright, beautifully decorated, and has a great atmosphere. The rooms are lovely too, with lots of wood. I’ve been here several times and have always been very happy. For me, though, the food is the main draw. The cooking is superb, with well-seasoned dishes that are a pleasure to eat and sometimes a surprise. The menu changes with the seasons and uses some regional ingredients, alongside touches of Turkish cuisine. Vegetarians get more than one option, including a fully vegan falafel burger. I’m looking forward to my next appointments in Teuschnitz and more evenings at the restaurant.

Our guests were thrilled, and the food was outstanding. We celebrated our wedding here recently, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They listened to all our wishes, handled special requests without a problem, and found a solution for everything so we could have things exactly as we wanted. The service was very attentive. The rooms were beautifully furnished, clean, and in excellent condition. We wholeheartedly recommend the Schwarze Kreuz and will definitely return. We’re already looking forward to celebrating there again.
