The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating, they went above and beyond for us. We had a wonderful two-night stay in mid-December and would happily return. Hotel Zur Luppbode is a cozy little escape in a beautiful valley, with hiking trailheads right outside. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and there are good dining options, including a cozy restaurant in the hotel. Treseburg is remote, so I'd recommend coming by car. You can get there by bus, and the hotel is just a two-minute walk from the bus top, but services are limited, especially in the evening. Excellent value for money, and we can't recommend the place enough.

A few things to keep in mind: there are no electronics like a kettle or iron in the rooms, perhaps due to infrastructure issues; the restaurant closes at 7:30 pm; and there's no elevator. The rooms themselves were cozy, clean, and had decent facilities. The hotel was nice, and the friendly service included a self-service bar open all the time.

After our long drive from the UK via Dusseldorf for a car festival at Pullman City Harz, Dolf and his staff gave us a wonderfully warm welcome. We arrived late, after the chef had stopped serving, but he still prepared a beautifully presented cold platter. Everyone in our group enjoyed the three-day stay, with some great evenings and plenty of beers while chatting with Rolf, who's quite a character. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

A beautiful BNB, with spacious, lovely rooms, a comfy bed, and delicious food. The workers were nice! Five stars.
