The rooms were good and the service was excellent. For a motorcycle holiday, this place worked perfectly, with a big tent where you can park your bike.

The Wi-Fi kept logging me out, sometimes after just a couple of minutes online. Apart from that, I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area. The room was clean and functional, and check-in and check-out were hassle free. The owners were friendly and helpful, and there’s free parking, though I don’t see it listed as an amenity on Google. The hotel is in Thallichtenberg, a quiet little town that’s convenient to Baumholder. Breakfast was extremely good for a small hotel. It’s naturally German-style, so don’t expect biscuits and gravy. There are delicious cheeses, breads, cold cuts, pickled herring, smoked salmon, fruit, even dates 😋, juices and waters, plus a carafe of fresh coffee on every table. Lichtenberg castle and its restaurant are only a five-minute drive away, and you can see the castle from the hotel, dramatically lit at night. Thallichtenberg also makes a nice base for recreational biking and motorbiking. I wasn’t traveling with children, but the hotel did seem like it would be kid friendly.

For motorbike excursions, the location is good, and the breakfast buffet was very good. It’s a simple but good hotel with a good price-performance ratio. Recommended 👍

The owner was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the internet was fast, which is rare in Germany. Breakfast was great too.
