Haus Seepferdchen Eva Mar

We had a lovely holiday near the beach, and being right on the promenade was one of the building’s few advantages. The apartment itself felt awkwardly large, with a lot of wasted space, and the furnishings weren’t very comfortable. Some things were broken, and the kitchen-living area could use better equipment for people cooking for themselves. A few windows had no curtains or blinds. We also missed having a rack for wet beach laundry. A small balcony for the upper floors would be more practical and comfortable.

I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager, and it’s still a lovely place for family time. The children are very welcome, and the bakery, grocery store, and nearby swimming pool are easy to get to. Cross the promenade and you’re at the sea. It works well for young and old alike.

Everything is walkable from this apartment, which sits right on the promenade. Inside, it’s nice and adequately equipped, with a lovely Baltic Sea view. The see-through curtains are a problem if, like some people, you need a dark room to sleep, so they should be replaced.

We’re back for our fifth stay at Haus Seepferdchen. The beach is only a one-minute walk away, and we always get the ground-floor apartment with its terrace and lake view. There’s plenty of space for our family of four, and it’s equipped just right. My two kids even picked this short break over Phantasialand. Everything’s been excellent, highly recommended.
