Hendlmühle

For €45 a night plus €25 for final cleaning, two adults and a baby stayed during the Pentecost holidays in June 2025. We’re from Upper Bavaria, and I honestly don’t know where else you’d find a vacation rental at that rate these days. At that price, I wasn’t expecting a newly renovated, premium apartment on a model farm in a prime spot. What we got was a cozy, fully equipped place, lots of peace and quiet, nature nearby, and an easy-going landlord. We were very happy with the whole stay and will definitely come back.

August/September 2024. The surroundings are lovely and would be great for unwinding, but the property itself is quite neglected. It wasn’t clean, and the apartment photos looked to be 15-20 years old. With some care and maintenance, this could be a real gem.

Fine for one night and for the price, but little beyond that. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean, while the kitchen and living room weren’t. Anyone with pet allergies should steer clear. The website and listed amenities set expectations much higher. There were no fish in the brown pond that we could find, the children’s toys were badly worn and couldn’t even be ridden, and the courtyard was cluttered with empty beer crates, a broken grill, and garbage bags.

My little dog 🐶 was able to run around freely, and I had such a lovely stay. The room was just right. Thank you so much for being so hospitable ❤️ I’ll be back 👍❤️☀️
