The apartment is laid out really well for two families, and the location is excellent. Rossman and other places are within walking distance. But the lower shower badly needs replacing: it doesn’t close properly and is very grimy. The light in the downstairs children's bedroom doesn’t work either. Cleanliness needs attention too. We kept sneezing until we cleaned the dust bunnies from under the beds ourselves. The kitchen could use some lids, and having garbage bags supplied would’ve been nice.

The apartment has plenty of room for two families, and its setting is a real plus. It’s very quiet by a small park, with quick access to the water park and Feldberg mountain. The “designer apartment” description feels dated. There’s a broken hallway lamp, two broken hooks out of three in one bathroom, badly damaged kitchen utensils, a leaking Senseo coffee machine, and a strong drain smell in the upstairs bathroom. It was also bitterly cold, as if nobody had been there for a while. The children's play area was 14 degrees Celsius, and it took a day and a half for the heating to warm the place up.

There’s lots of space in the apartment, but it needs to be cleaner, and it isn’t especially suited to families with little kids. The sloping ceiling makes the first-floor bathroom awkward for anyone over 1.80 meters tall.

Set beside a little park with a lake and children's playground, the apartment is quiet, with hardly any traffic, though it’s only a few minutes from town center. Inside, it’s lovely and spacious, with a big terrace and very comfortable beds.
