The bus stop is right outside, and as the hotel is a Schwartzwaldkart partner, bus and train rides are free. Really useful. There’s parking too, and a mini pool for your legs across the road, which was amazing after a long hike. The hiking area is lovely. Rooms are clean, practical, and have all the necessary amenities. Breakfast has fresh local products, and they’ll make eggs to order. Staff were kind and polite, service was fantastic, and all the administration was handled professionally and efficiently. Great experience, certainly recommended!

We were two young families staying for three nights in March 2022. The place felt homely while still giving us the peace and privacy we want on vacation. Rooms were very clean, and the staff were hospitable and polite. Several ski slopes are within 5km. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was very good, with eggs made to order and a good selection of cold cuts, coffee, fruit, cheese, and more. The staff also suggested a great Italian place for our last night in town, Bella Italia, and reserved a table for us.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide range of fresh, tasty regional products. The fresh trout for dinner was the best! My room was clean, comfortable, and in mint condition. The road is noisy, but the windows do a very good job of insulating. My motorcycle had a nice, dry garage for the night. The lady of the house welcomed me, and was friendly and attentive throughout my stay. A well-run family business, highly recommended.

We’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great base for visiting the Sky area in Feldberg, with a good bus connection that makes it easy to get there. Our room was very clean and in order. The host family and employees were super nice and helpful, answered all our questions, and were always friendly.
