Hotel Lawine

The trout is well worth ordering. They seem to keep about 50 trout by the nearby river and catch one when you order. The skin is fried really crisp, while the meat stays unbelievably soft. The beef and spatzle are very good too, and breakfast is generous, with yogurt and chopped fruit served as salad. I also liked their homemade sekt. The room was very big and comfortable. My only concern was the plastic water heater, so I wouldn’t dare heat the water too much. The bus stop right outside makes getting to the ski resort very convenient. I’d definitely consider visiting again.

A little river rushes through the huge backyard, and the views from the big rooms are great. The staff are very nice, breakfast is good, and dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. It’s the nicest place in the mountains, definitely worth stopping for the night, especially at a great price.

The rooms are spacious and have balconies, with good bathrooms that are a bit small but have lovely hot water and a powerful hair dryer. Parking is free and there’s plenty of it. A nice family hotel near the Wiese waterfall, with great scenery and a central location for a week in the Black Forest.

I’d happily come back. The food was great, and they even have indoor parking for motorbikes. Really good value for money, with lovely people and a very nice hotel right in the Black Forest.
