The optional breakfast was really good, especially the homemade bread, and it was fairly priced. We only stayed one night in early September 2023, but the owners did a lot to make us comfortable. When we mentioned the unusual heat, they found us a fan, and they lent us a garage remote so we could keep our large tandem bike in the garage. The room was roomy and comfortable, with plenty of nice spots to sit around the house and grounds. The town center was an easy bike ride away, and they also suggested some good restaurants. Bettis worked out very well for us.

The place is on the edge of town, so getting around could be tricky without your own transport, but I'd still recommend it. It has a Swedish feel, with modern, creative decor, comfortable beds, and really welcoming hospitality. Breakfast can be a big spread or something simple, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options made on site. Thank you!!

The drive in from the Tostedt end of Friedrich-Vorwerk-Strasse had us thinking, “Oh no, an industrial park,” but keep going to the end of the street and there’s Bettis, like an oasis. We had a brilliant overnight stay as a family, and the breakfast was great. The Guest Hotel speaks German and the instructions were in German too, so a translation app came in handy. Definitely recommended.

The couple running this cozy two-room hotel are really caring, and it almost feels like coming home. Breakfast is homemade, and most of it is organic.

The breakfast was fantastic and well worth the price. The rooms are lovely and the facilities are good. There’s a playground within a five-minute walk, and several places to eat dinner within 1.5 km.
