It has the relaxed feel of a hostel, and the family running it are very welcoming. My room was simple but spotless. I also liked being able to choose breakfast items the evening before. Mosel-Camino pilgrims should know it’s about a 25-minute walk from the bridge. After a strenuous day, finding out you still have extra kilometers to cover can be discouraging.

We stayed in the family room, which was actually two separate rooms, and had a balcony looking out onto the lovely garden. It was clean, the breakfast was amazing, and we could keep our bicycles in the garrage. The walk into the city centre was nice, so the distance wasn’t a problem. The one annoyance was the shower curtain sticking to us all the time. A proper shower cabin would be better.

The rooms are basic and outdated, breakfast was mediocre, and it’s a long way from the center.

Our room was good value, and we could store our bicycles securely. We were welcomed very warmly, and breakfast was excellent and generous. Highly recommended.
