Breakfast was fine, the WiFi worked well, and the clean rooms are non-smoking. You can walk to the Waterfall, other sights, and the few cafes and restaurants in the town centre. The entrance is a little odd, but the hotel itself is charming, and the owner/manager was friendly and helpful. A little gem, as the other reviews say. I'd recommend it if you want a comfortable, clean place with a great host and no frills.
The manager was extremely helpful, and we had a great breakfast. The rooms were very clean, parking was easy, and the hotel is conveniently located. I'd highly recommend staying here.
We set off from this wonderful hotel on a 1900 mile bike trip down the Danube. Its location worked perfectly for picking up groceries and finding somewhere to eat, and our room's balcony gave us just the spot we needed to rebuild our bikes after shipping them from America. The owner was incredibly helpful, from sorting out recycling for the bike boxes to all kinds of little kindnesses. My favourite was her note on the morning we left: “May there always be air in your tires.” It worked. We rode touring bikes 1900 miles across Europe without a single flat. The hotel was fabulous. Stay here if you can.
Lovely views from both our room and the breakfast room, and our hostess was wonderful. When you arrive to check in, don't be put off by the entrance. This little hidden gem turned out to be a lovely place to stay. Thanks for a great visit.
We had a clean, comfortable room with a great view of town. The river runs behind the hotel, so with the window open we could listen to the rushing water all night. You're right in town, within walking distance of the Falls, shops, and restaurants. Breakfast and service were good, and the very nice, helpful staff spoke good English.
