Once we settled in, the place felt cozy and genuinely special. Being so far from everything means you can enjoy the Black Forest in all its scale and beauty, with no disturbance. Getting there was less comfortable: the rough, unpaved road was a little scary at night, and at first there was nobody to welcome us, show us around, or help us find our room. The facilities inside are basic. Drinking water, a contact person to guide guests, and a better approach road would make the stay easier. Still, its remote setting is exactly what gives it that magical feeling.

The family running the farm were warm, welcoming, and knew the area well. There are animals on site, while the accommodation itself is modern. The surrounding nature feels like a fairytale, and the local culture makes the area well worth visiting. A truly magical stay.

A lovely wooden house tucked into the woods, and a great spot to spend some time. The owners are very friendly. Even out there, mobile coverage is available and the fixed internet works well. 5*

The hosts were so kind, and we loved staying here. It's beautiful. The final stretch of road is gravel, but that wasn't a problem for us.
