It’s close to the heart of beautiful Triberg, within walking distance of the waterfall and many souvenir shops. Edeka is across the street for food, and restaurants are also nearby. But this place isn’t suitable if you need a secure bed or a safe shower. The bed frame was cracked, and even a backpack on it made it fall to the floor. When my son went to shower, the floor collapsed inward and a tile broke. The doors leaked water all over what was supposed to be a bathroom. There was also a table propped on pieces of wood, with no screws holding the legs. Good luck if you choose to stay here. There are five floors, and each staircase gets smaller than the last. The final flight to the attic is very steep, with a huge step between stairs.

We booked one night and had to pay a month ahead. Three weeks before the stay, the airline canceled our flight. We contacted the owner three times to explain and ask for a refund, but they ignored every request and never replied.

A small, cozy apartment in Trieberg with all the facilities you need. The few attractions there are, such as the Black Forest, waterfalls, and museums, are all nearby. There aren’t many attractions in Trieberg, but for a few days of sightseeing this apartment is an easy recommendation. It made for an absolutely perfect trip to Trieberg, Germany.
