Hotel Blesius Garten

Good location near Trier's center and spacious rooms, but there's no AC. Some windows don't have blinds, and whoever decorated the rooms seemed to have their eyes closed. Breakfast buffet was nice, though I missed having something hot like pancakes or French toast.

The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. We also enjoyed the clean, pleasant wellness area and the delicious local food at the restaurant. The Helles beer was really good. A fan or air conditioning would be a welcome addition.

We stumbled across this beautiful hotel while doing a self-guided brewery tour through Deutschland. We didn't stay overnight, but we did have the Kraft brew sampler and a delicious meal at the bar. The place felt grand without being pretentious, warm and intimate too. The bar had a vintage look with an eclectic modern touch. The beer was scrumptious, the food savory, and the staff personable and hospitable. They went out of their way to make the experience flawless.

The pool and sauna were lovely for unwinding, and the brewery beer was both great and nicely priced. Staff were extremely kind and welcoming. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the historic downtown sights. The walls are thin, so you can hear the neighbors, though that’s to be expected in an old historic building. There’s no air conditioning, but the little fan in the room worked, even if it was noisy. Loved the stay and hope to come back.
