We felt relaxed and comfortable here, and with breakfast and parking included in the price, we'd consider coming back. The hotel is in a very quiet area. It looks small at first, but after two nights we had everything we needed, even enough room for my yoga mat. There’s free private parking at the front entrance and by the back doors. We stayed on weekdays during the Easter school holidays and still found a spot when we returned after 8 pm. Breakfast is included in the room rate. We only saw a staff member, probably the owner, around noon at check-in and each morning while he prepared breakfast. There’s no front desk at night, and the room key also opens the hotel door. It wasn’t an especially friendly hotel, but we were comfortable there.

It felt homely, and I was very comfortable, so for me the stay was worth it. The rooms were clean and the employees welcoming. Each room has its own Wi-Fi, which was a big plus for us youngsters. I also had one of the most delicious breakfasts here. The building looks a bit small from outside and parking is limited.

We came back for the second year in a row. It’s a very quiet, clean, family-run hotel with kind staff, great service, and a good breakfast. Buses are a short walk away, though getting there from Altstadt means a VERY steep uphill walk 😉. We recommend it 👍

The room was much nicer than I expected from the website, especially the lovely balcony and sitting area. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was pretty good too. Bring an ethernet cable or adapter for the “free internet,” since it isn’t wireless. Walking up from the airport bus stop takes some effort, with Tübingen’s steep hills. While you’re here, the Botanischer Garten der Universität Tübingen is a nice place for a walk, and I’d suggest having lunch or dinner at Gastronomie Sternwarte, preferably outside. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Katharina Garni.
