The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the price was very good. The guesthouse is fairly central in the village, with parking out front. But loud noise from upstairs and other guests often carried on at night, which made the stay only so-so. That's why I gave it three out of five stars.

Restaurants, shops, bakeries and banks are all an easy walk away, and the train station takes about five minutes on foot. Hiking and cycling routes start right at the hotel, which also makes it a useful base for trips to Lake Constance, the Black Forest, the Danube Valley and neighboring Switzerland. The rooms are modern, very clean and have what you need. It's a lovely little hotel run with a lot of heart, with a warm welcome and especially kind service. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again.
