The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from, and I could always find a seat. They made boiled eggs fresh when ordered. I also tried lunch after noticing the many vegetarian dishes on the menu, and the meatless Schnitzel was delicious. I stayed two nights and had a marvelous time. The hosts were exceptionally kind and attentive. My single room was more spacious than I expected, with a tasteful rustic-modern look, and I especially liked the updated bathroom. A charming little gem in Überlingen.

We had the turkey tapas with vegetable soup as well as a really good burger. It's a great spot for a family meal, though the prices are on the high side since the place is a little upscale.

The chocolate cake is well worth trying, it was amazing. The food felt inventive and had good vegetarian options while still keeping a traditional touch. Service was quick and exceptionally friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. I'd absolutely go again.

We've been coming for years, and the restaurant keeps delivering outstanding service and tasty, inventive food. It takes classic German and local dishes and gives them an international culinary touch. We'll be back again and again.
