We spent five hours on a carriage ride through the heath last Saturday, and it was wonderful. The carriage was stylish and comfortable, the horses were spotless and had fly sheets, and everything was just right. We learned a lot while taking in the beautiful landscape. The farm, the Degener couple, and the horses all made a great impression, and we'd love to return. Warm greetings from East Frisia. I can't say anything about the rooms since we only came for the day.

A great base for riding out into the heath, and I'd gladly bring my horse here again. The people were lovely, the horses were kept and cared for well, and breakfast was generous and tasty. I can definitely recommend it.

We decided on the carriage ride to Wilsede at short notice, bringing our baby and toddler along. We were delighted with it. The children were treated so warmly at the farm, and we got some interesting details about the heath too. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

The host family is welcoming and really knows how to look after guests. With the horse stables right beside the beautiful apartments and hiking and riding trails starting at the farm, it's a dream spot for anyone who loves horses and nature. A real insider tip!

We paid €150 for four people, and an extra person would have cost more. The price would've been €150 for just the two of us as well. I highly recommend the ride, the scenery was incredibly beautiful. I can't comment on the rooms. My partner booked one of the horse-drawn carriages. There was lots of parking at the farm. It was dark wood with upholstered benches, and the four of us rode together through the Lüneburg Heath to a village where cars aren't allowed. You can arrange in advance to stay there for an hour or go straight on. I think a one-way ticket to the village would be useful, so you could decide whether to start hiking or simply have hikers taken back to the village. We learned a lot about the area, and the driver answered our questions as they came up.
