Niedereher Mühle

Cute little town, with friendly staff, fine rooms, and a good breakfast.

We only had a short stay, and wished we could have stayed longer. The owner’s hospitality, care, friendly manner, and the lovely atmosphere made it special. The location and hotel are both really lovely. Thanks so much! Highly recommended for motorcyclists and anyone who enjoys peace and nature :)

The dinner was even better than the great breakfast. I haven’t eaten this well in a long time. The rooms were clean, the beds were great, and the location was absolutely quiet. It’s a nice little town, though not a party town. Excellent value for money, and the landlady was very friendly. We had a wonderful stay and I’d book here again anytime. Thank you so much!

The hostess was very nice, but we felt she didn’t have much sensitivity to guests’ needs, something we’ve experienced repeatedly in the Eifel region and found much better abroad. We planned to leave at 5/6 in the morning and told her we’d miss breakfast, which starts at 8. We expected someone might prepare a sandwich the evening before, leave something out for us to make one in the morning, or adjust the price. Instead, we were urged to return at 9, since the other two rooms wanted breakfast then. It seemed that an extra hour of sleep mattered more than our needs. That was a shame. We stayed one night at the Niedereher Mühle as Eifelsteig hikers. The hotel was simple and clean, with nothing to complain about there. It was quite cold outside the room because they seemed to skimp on heating, perhaps because only three rooms were occupied.
