We had a great view while eating at their restaurant, and the schnitzel was excellent. It was proper meat, not pressed, frozen stuff straight from a deep fryer. You can really taste the difference when it's good meat, cooked in a skillet rather than frozen and fried.

The place has charm and was okay overall, but it felt like the business was being run as a hobby. Things went downhill when they wouldn't take credit cards. Since I had an online reservation, I thought they'd be prepared to accept one. It made me suspect they might be trying to evade taxes, though that's only my impression. The rooms were okay, but lots of little things were broken or missing. I can live with no shampoo, an empty hand-soap bottle, and drains that wouldn't clear, but the owner blamed me for a small towel rod that had come loose from the wall. When I started pointing out the faults and explaining they'd already been there, the owner said he didn't speak English ;)

A very basic hotel room, more hostel level in my opinion, and not worth the price. This doesn't feel like a three-star hotel. Breakfast was very modest.
