We booked several rooms for a conference, and one wasn't ready in the late afternoon. The guest got a key from an outside box and found vaping gear, empty liquor bottles, and a general mess. We moved him to another room in our block, which had been booked for arrival two days earlier but whose traveler had been detained. When we entered, a housekeeper rushed in to retrieve a fresh salad from inside. That housekeeper also walked into a bathroom while another guest was showering and entered several guests' rooms without knocking or giving proper notice. The hotel backs onto the train tracks and doubles as a low-end apartment building. Management showed no customer service skills and did nothing about the multiple complaints. Don't stay here. Reception is only open for one or two hours, if you're lucky enough to arrive then. Otherwise, you may have to follow other people into the locked building just to try to find someone for check-in, and sorting it out can take over an hour.

We were tired already, and the room we finally got had one double bed, a single pillow, and a small blanket. We'd booked and paid for a room with two separate beds and told them we'd arrive after midnight; they said that would be fine. It took 40 minutes of phone calls before they gave us the pin code to get the room card. They couldn't find our reservation, even though it was paid. Once I emailed it to them, everything was okay.

The location in Baldham is convenient, close to the S-Bahn, edeka, dm, a pharmacy, and post offices. I was happy with the rooms too: they were clean and warm, with good sound insulation and enough space. I also appreciated having basic kitchen equipment in each room.

Very clean, spacious rooms, with a quiet atmosphere thanks to the soundproof windows and maybe the solid walls. The front desk staff were kind. Pretty much everything you need.
