The food has always been delicious and consistently high quality, and the waitresses are kind and helpful every time. I've had so many lovely evenings here, and I hope there are plenty more ahead ❤️ I've known Coesfelder Tor since childhood, when my family would gather here or come for a special meal. I'm 39 now and have lived away from Velen for years, in the Ruhr area, but coming back still feels like coming home when I eat here with my family.

We stopped by after visiting the Christmas market in the forest near Velen. Coesfelder Tor is a traditional place, now looked after by the next generation of siblings and their families. You can tell they put a lot of passion into running it. Everyone made us feel at home, and the service was attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding too.
