The apartment is a handy base for trips, with Idar-Oberstein and plenty of attractions nearby. It’s cozy, furnished comfortably, and has a place to park the car. The setting is very quiet, right on the edge of town. The downside for me was the lack of Wi-Fi.

Parking was right outside the door under a huge carport, and the Wi-Fi was free. The apartment was spotless and well cared for. It’s very quiet, less than 2 km from Idar-Oberstein city center, and a great starting point for different outings. A really lovely place.

The floor hadn’t been cleaned before we moved in, and there was no Wi-Fi. The sleeping area is open above the living room, with no blinds to keep out the light, and it got too warm to sleep. The apartment itself is nice, but some repairs looked unfinished: missing silicone at a few joints, no baseboard on one kitchen unit, and electrical wires coming out of the wall. Both pairs of mattresses were sagging, too.

The open-plan bedroom was lovely, and the rooms were so well kept, clean, and in top condition. It felt like being at home instead of staying in a holiday apartment. We’d definitely recommend it and will come back.
