The room was clean and comfortable, with bottled water, coffee-making facilities, and a spotless bathroom. The staff were great, the location was nice, and the room lovely. We did find it very hot, though: on the day we arrived, temperatures were in the low to mid 30s and the sun shone straight into the window. There was no air conditioning or fridge. If you're visiting in summer, I'd suggest bringing a cool box. Reception lent us a fan after a quick conversation, which helped a little. There was no reception staff on site when we arrived in the afternoon. A notice said to call a number, but as I don't speak German I couldn't understand the recorded message. It turned out I needed to press option 2 to reach an off-site receptionist. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful in getting us through. If we'd understood German, check-in would have been straightforward.

A nice, simple hotel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, breakfast is OK, and dinner is very nice. Reception only opens after 4 pm, though. I asked the hotel to arrange a taxi, but unfortunately that didn't work out.
