There's a buffet breakfast, and the lounge stays open around the clock for drinks and food. The hotel is right in the center, which was handy. The room key is an electronic card that also turns on the lights. The hotel was nice and clean.

The staff were the best part of my stay. Even with the hotel full, they were lovely and did everything they could to make things pleasant. Breakfast met my expectations, and although the beds weren't the most comfortable I've slept in, I still got decent sleep. The payment hold was the real problem. They tried to pre-authorize the full, fairly expensive stay two weeks ahead of time. If your card has a low limit, that can cause trouble, and when it doesn't go through, they seem to cancel almost immediately without giving you time to respond. I managed to get my room back, but I could have done without the extra stress and having to call the hotel and bother the people on the phone.

The rooms were clean, but I’d suggest choosing a different Holiday Inn in Stuttgart. Construction was going on outside our room, and we had to leave the windows open because the AC didn't come on at night as we were told it would. We also got wrong information from staff about parking. We followed their recommendation, then were told we'd have to pay three times as much. They didn't help sort it out. Such a disappointment, and the customer service was really poor.

It's in a very good spot and the general service was good, but the room cleaning wasn't. Volksbank Parking is directly below the hotel, and it's inexpensive.
