Loginn Hotel Waiblingen

Finding a safe place to park or let someone out by the main entrance is difficult, since the hotel sits on a corner. The rooms themselves were modern and very nice. I would have given it five stars, but breakfast was a letdown: there weren't many choices of juice, fruit or hot food, such as bacon, hard-boiled eggs, orange juice or oranges.

Check-in and checkout were quick and practical, and the staff were good too. The rooms are a nice size, clean and new, with plenty of USB sockets, which suited my business trip well. I stayed for one night. The hotel feels very modern, either new or recently renovated. The furniture has an urban look, with pipes and electrical cables visible on the ceiling. Just inside are the bar, a small reception desk and a TV and recreation room, giving the place almost a hostel atmosphere. It seems especially suited to younger guests. The hotel faces two main roads, so you can hear some traffic. There’s a large parking area in front where you can leave the car all day for €2. Breakfast was good, though it could have offered a little more. For the price, I'd say it's excellent value.

The hotel is new and clean, and the staff are really friendly. The S bahn station is only about five minutes away on foot, with a Lidl and a kebab place nearby too. But I seriously wouldn't recommend staying here in a hot summer. The AC didn't work, just a fan that didn't help much. It was over 30° this time, so opening the window was the only option, but traffic from the street and intersection was too loud to sleep properly. Breakfast was very basic, repetitive and had limited choices. The meats weren't labelled, as though everyone eats pork. On the last day, two coffee machines broke, so coffee was only available at reception.

The hotel is a three-minute walk from Waiblingen Station, and the train ride to Stuttgart Main Station takes about 15 minutes. It's clean and modern, and the price was good. I especially liked the comfortable bed after a full day of travel. The bathroom is a little small, but that's fine, and it had no bad smell. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
