Hotel Sockenbacher Hof

From the welcome at arrival through to check-out, we had a wonderful stay. We were on half-board, and both breakfast and dinner were superb, with breakfast especially standing out for its selection and quality. The staff were friendly, courteous, and competent. We’ll definitely return.

We spent five days here in a comfort double room with our furry friend. The staff and owners were always friendly, and they dealt with questions and requests quickly. There’s plenty to do nearby, and larger cities like Aschaffenburg, Weinheim, and Heidelberg are also within reach. The Odenwald has lots of beautiful places to explore, though many shops are closed on Mondays. My only slight concern was the bathtub with a shower in the comfort room. Since this is an older establishment, it might be worth reconsidering whether to offer that room as a comfort room.

We were welcomed with a local "Lederbier" when we arrived, a really nice touch. There was plenty of parking behind the building for our motorcycles, and we had a fantastic overnight stay at the Sockenbacher Hof. The rooms were clean and roomy, and we enjoyed both dinner in the beer garden and breakfast. We'd definitely recommend it.

We were there for two nights and it was peaceful, with hardly any traffic. The thermal baths were close enough to walk to. Breakfast was good too, with scrambled eggs, muesli, coffee, tea and the rest.
